Inaugural Teddy Bears' Picnics

The rain held off as we enjoyed our first Teddy Bears' Picnic at the Garden at the end of May, and a second in early June in the Uniting Church auditorium, followed by a play in the Garden. In all more than 80 preschoolers from the local area had a great time with their favourite teddies and other cuddly soft toys during mornings of songs with actions, (including of course "Teddy Bears' Picnic"), the fun band "Wattas", picnic food, "follow the leader" and lots of general running around!
